The Manaslu Circuit is Nepal’s most exciting, up and coming trekking routes. The highlight of this trek is Mt. Manaslu (8156 m, 26,758 ft), 8th highest peak in the world and the captivating villages passed along the way with people following an ageless way of life. The whole trek is astonishing for its striking landscape surrounded by Himalaya peaks. Currently, this magnificent trail sees far fewer visitors than its world-renowned neighbour, the Annapurna Region, and a great opportunity to get there before the crowds arrive!
Our Manaslu Circuit trek offers a wide range of natural diversity from terraced fields to alpine lakes, glaciers and mountain views. Larkya La, a mountain pass at 5213 m (17046ft) is the high point of the trek. Villages visited on the way up are rich in culture with a blend of many ethnicities that differ in lifestyle and customs as we climb higher and higher.
The Manaslu Circuit area borders Tibet to the north and has been part of a high-altitude trade route for centuries. The mountain landscape and views of towering peaks is a spectacle that will leave you yearning for more. Majestic villages and monasteries are found here beneath the surrounding peaks and offer insight into the people that call this land home.
If you are looking for a trek full of adventure and scenic rewards, away from the busier trails, then the Manaslu Circuit is for you!
There are many choices for more trekking in the Manaslu and Annapurna areas, and if you would like to extend your travels, just let us know and we will arrange according to your schedule!
